We Did Not Choose Ministry As A Career. God Called Us Through What He Brought Us Through.
Kingdom Alliance Ministries was not born from a desire for a title, a platform, or recognition. No man called us into this. God confronted our lives, restored what was broken, delivered what had been hidden, and then began placing people in our path who needed the same truth, freedom, and hope He had given us.
We Were A Married Couple Trying To Make It Through What We Did Not Yet Understand.
From the outside, there were parts of our lives that looked normal. We had faith, family, church history, children, work, and responsibilities. But there were deeper battles underneath all of that.
Greg had been raised in church and around ministry from childhood. He knew church culture, played drums, and knew Scripture. But childhood molestation opened the door to years of hidden pain, anger, rage, bitterness, pornography, pride, rebellion, and patterns he did not know how to confront. He knew the God of his family before he truly knew God for himself.
Shanah carried wounds of rejection from childhood loss, emotional pain, and generational patterns. Yet she developed a deep relationship with God and spent years praying, fasting, interceding for her husband, and spiritually carrying the home when the roles in the marriage had become reversed.
Before He Could Trust Us With People, He Had To Deal With Us.
For years, our marriage carried the effects of unhealed wounds, pride, emotional distance, silence, reversed roles, and spiritual imbalance. God did not allow us to build ministry on top of that. He began peeling back layers.
Truth Had To Come Into The Light
Greg publicly told the truth about the childhood molestation he had carried in silence for years. That truth came with enormous personal cost, but it also broke something open and became the beginning of deeper healing.
God Began Stripping Layers
Therapy, honest conversations, deliverance, and confrontation with long-standing patterns began exposing what had been buried beneath behavior and personality.
Our Marriage Began Coming Back Into Order
After years of Shanah carrying the spiritual and practical weight of the home, Greg began stepping into the responsibility of spiritual headship under Christ, and the marriage experienced a dramatic shift.
The Night Everything Changed.
There are moments in your life that divide everything into before and after. October 21, 2021 became one of those nights for us.
What began as an ordinary night became a life-changing spiritual encounter for Greg. He describes God confronting spirits and strongholds connected to pornography, rebellion, anger, rage, family patterns, and generational bondage. That night became a turning point in his understanding of spiritual warfare, deliverance, identity, and Kingdom authority.
Shanah was beside him praying and interceding through what neither of them had ever experienced before. The night did not only affect Greg. It changed the marriage, the home, the family, and the direction of their lives.
The Woman Who Prayed For Everyone Else Had To Know Who She Was Too.
For more than 20 years, Shanah prayed and fasted for her husband and family. She watched God transform Greg and begin using him powerfully, but privately she was asking God, “What about me?”
She had carried rejection from childhood for years. During deliverance sessions she often felt as if everyone else was breaking through while she remained stuck. Then, during a night of deep honesty with God, that wall of rejection finally broke.
The next day, she describes hearing God clearly throughout the day. Soon after, God led Greg and Shanah to a restaurant where they met a waitress undergoing cancer treatment. During prayer, Shanah experienced what she understood as the beginning of a healing gift God had already spoken over her life.
No Man Called Us. God Did.
We were not looking for ordination, a stage, a title, or a ministry brand. We were being transformed. Then God began putting people in our path, especially people who were hurting, bound, sick, discouraged, or tired of religion without power.
People Needed Freedom
We began encountering people who needed prayer, deliverance, healing, prophetic encouragement, and someone willing to believe God with them.
Our Gifts Began Operating
Gifts that had been suppressed began emerging again, including prophecy, discernment, prayer, and healing ministry.
The Assignment Became Clear
God showed us that what He had done in us was not only for us. We were to serve together and help tear down strongholds that keep people from living in freedom and Kingdom identity.
Identity. Freedom. Marriage. Authority. Assignment.
These are not ministry categories we chose because they sounded good. They are the places where God dealt with us.
Identity In Christ
Because both of us had to learn that what happened to you does not get to define who Christ says you are.
Deliverance & Freedom
Because hidden bondage can live beneath church attendance, gifting, personality, and outward success until truth confronts it.
Marriage & Family
Because God restored order, trust, responsibility, and spiritual alignment in our own home before He sent us to help others.
Kingdom Authority
Because authority is not a title. It comes from being submitted to the King and knowing who you are in Him.
Healing & Prayer
Because God began placing people in front of us who needed someone willing to pray, believe, and obey.
Purpose & Assignment
Because freedom is not the end. God restores you so your life can become useful for His purpose.
